One more day until the transformation starts! In preparation up to this point I've changed my eating habits to become 90% healthy, started focusing on eating more protein, and I've also did a dry run of the exercises to come. With each week, I'll be doing an Upper/Lower Split, meaning that one day will concentrate on upper body, the next will be lower body, then upper body (b), and lower body (b). These exercises have not been put together arbitrarily. They are the result of days of researched while bored at my work. I really went through a great deal to find and combine all the best exercises and choose the appropriate order, reps, and number of exercises. I will upload pictures of the workouts on the next post. **Let me know personally if you want the PDF's to print off.
Anyways, I've got my initial numbers (weight, reps, notes) for all the new exercises and I'm 100% ready to go into tomorrow. The things I'll be focusing on are eating a TON (I calculated I'll need 3800 calories a day), drinking a TON (in between my classes), and making sure that everything I eat has SOME value. **I'll also upload my personalized list of meals that I like that are crazy healthy for you and you bulking.
My plan is to blog about 30 minutes for each workout I do. Like I said, I want to be as transparent as possible with you guys so you really can see that I'm a normal person doing this and writing about it. I really want to help inspire you to make the change you want. That said, I'll be writing about the websites I've found that have made this whole thing possible, things that I notice about the workouts or diet that you'll need to know (should you choose to follow my plan), and my exact numbers. I bring a journal to the gym and I will either scan in or just type out how I do so you can watch the progress unfold before your eyes!
At this point, I'm so prepared and ready for this. In my mind, I've already done it (this is a great technique for achieving your goals btw...read "The New Psycho-Cybernetics" if you want to know more about making your subconscious work for you). I can picture myself clearly being in the body I desire. This pure confidence is what makes me so excited to start this thing and watch myself go along! The first month will be a bit of a trial run in terms of how Im doing with eating, working out, and journaling. Ill be able to see if I'm eating enough for my gains (5lbs/month) and if the workouts are plateauing on me.
I just really hope this blog helps to inspire the guys out there looking on the body-building websites and see the jacked up guys and think to themselves "I cant do that..." Well, here I am. Going from fit to fitter in four months.
