Okay okay, so I checked in two days ago and my weight was back up to 167! I figure its just really fluctuating but with an upward direction. Had a great snack today: I put tuna (with salsa, hot sauce, and onion) on crackers with cheese and baked it!
Im getting a little less sore with each workout so I may introduce the variations soon.
A friend from Finland who is an experienced lifter looked at my regime and recommended that I modify my 2nd month to focus on strength more. So instead of something like this: 3x 8-10, it would be: 5x 4-6. Higher weights, more sets and lower reps will get you strength. I told him that I wanted to focus on bulking though and he made me realize that once I'm done this month of strength training, the weight I will be able to lift will be much more than I could have done sticking to my regime. Therefore, the bulk WILL follow.
